When i started making music, I was working as hard as possible and trying to learn a million billion techniques, styles and workflows at once to try to get better at making music as fast as possible. Then i learned about ill.GATES.
I watched his tutorials and OBSESSED over his techniques and teachings. He made me realize that this path was a real possibility if I just worked smart, hard and dedicated everything I had to music. One day I contacted him and told him what he meant to me and how much he helped me.
4 days after i wrote that email, i was on a flight to San Fransisco where i would spend a four day weekend with him and make a song together...INSANE…. This was by far one of the most important experiences in my life and will always remain a huge turning point in turning my dreams into realities.
Thank You Dylan. Loyalty and Love forever.
