This song was written, produced, mixed and mastered by me, Jacob and my best friend Ed:)
I wrote this song with my best friend Ed.
There was a loop of a vocal, a kick , a snare, and bass. Thats it. A version of the track that i would love for us to remake and release on its own.We realized somewhere in the middle that we wanted this song to have more attitude and we were in the middle of doing tons of experimenting with new synths and bass sounds. SO we completely redid the song and added a theme and tons of texture and made all sorts of crazy errors and malfunctions and also lots of happy accidents and fun, which happened to, in the long run, boost our confidence in creating complicated tracks that have strange, sometimes confusing bits without being afraid to fail. This song was a turning point in my production. A song with plenty of left and right turns, epic horns, weird fast traveling basses and heavy unexpected drops. Much like if you were traveling through pOrtals.
Thank You Ed for being my best friend and keeping me inspired and motivated throughout this entire process and in life beyond music.
